Warranty

Timber

A 5-year warranty covers the structural integrity of non-upholstered items. Solid timber, being a natural product, is subject to change and movement. There is also a 1-year warranty on staining (excludes physical damage such as scratches and liquid damage). We ensure the quality of our design and workmanship of all our timber products and expect them to provide a lifetime of enjoyment.

Warranty claims

Claims can be made through the place from which the furniture was purchased. An inspection of the product is required to determine the nature and cause of the fault. This will be conducted by your point-of-purchase or sales representative and you will be advised whether the alleged defect has been caused by fair wear and tear, carrier damage, abuse or faulty manufacturing. The warranty covers the cost involved in repair but excludes any transport or freight costs associated with the claim.

Maintenance

As timber is sealed with a protective polyurethane lacquer the only maintenance required is to regularly wipe timber with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Oils or other polishes are not necessary. Avoid contact with liquid, heat and keep out of direct sunlight. Abrasive cleaning products are not recommended.

Regular care is needed to maintain the beauty and finish of your furniture. When placing furniture, please be aware of keeping the piece out of direct sunlight, away from heat, harsh chemicals, sharp objects and pets. When moving furniture please be careful not to drag the item.
